The Kazakhstan Open 2026 is part of the World Taekwondo calendar as a G-1 event, making it an important stop for athletes seeking international experience, a higher competitive level and valuable world ranking points. The tournament features kyorugi competition in the Senior, Junior and Cadet divisions, creating a broad platform for both established athletes and rising prospects.

The opening day is dedicated to the Senior G-1 category, while the programme continues with Junior competition on 26 June and Cadet action on 27 June. The event also uses the KPNP electronic scoring system as part of its technical structure.

The staging of the Kazakhstan Open 2026 confirms Kazakhstan’s strategic growth within world Taekwondo.
