Solidarity Center Open 2026 brings G1 taekwondo and refugee support to Montargis
The Solidarity Center Open 2026 takes place this weekend, July 4 and 5, at the Complexe Sportif du Puiseaux in Montargis, France, bringing together cadet, junior and senior athletes for an important international taekwondo competition.
Recognized as a G1/E1 event, the tournament offers valuable ranking opportunities while also standing out for its strong social mission. One of the main characteristics of the Solidarity Center Open is its support for refugee athletes, who are given the opportunity to compete with assistance covering key participation expenses, including registration, transportation and accommodation.

The event’s Technical Delegate is Moustapha Akkouh, while Chakir Chelbat serves as Referee Chairman, overseeing the technical and refereeing operations of the competition and Serge Sembona, France Referee Chairman.
