Olympia, located in Greece, is the birthplace of the Olympic Games, having been the site of the ancient games since 776 BC. until 393 AD. The place was a sanctuary dedicated to the god Zeus and was considered a sacred and sporting site. The organizing committee indicated that the place is an hour away, and that they plan to attend.
