The level of competition of the Under 21 is not boring at all. Spectacular kicks and many precise techniques have been observed in combat.

The desire to win and take gold in Romania means that young people have no room for doubt. Turkey, Spain and Croatia got off to a good start on the first day of action at the European Under 21 Championship, which takes place from December 7-10 at the Multipurpose Hall in Bucharest, Romania.

Turkey scored two gold medals, Spain and Croatia achieved one each, of the four weight divisions that were contested on December 7.

The event aims for excellence according to the speech of the directors of the European Taekwondo Union (ETU) during the opening ceremony.

Antonio Barbarino, Secretary General of the ETU congratulated the Romanian Taekwondo Federation for its efforts in organizing this event.  For his part, the president of the host Federation expressed that he was pleased by the presence of athletes, coaches, referees, managers and press from more than many countries.

The tournament is held in three (03) competition areas with Daedo electronic systems, video replay, live broadcast, OVR Martials Events, award areas, high-level judges, beautiful prizes for the winners, and international press.
