Day III
Two big favourites came out on top today on the third day of the European Taekwondo Championships in Manchester.
Manchester 2019 world champion Bradly Sinden took first place in the -68kg category. Another big favourite, Italy’s Simone Alessio also made his mark with gold to secure his country’s only gold medal so far at the event.
Spain claimed their first gold of this European event through Cecilia Castro, and Croatia also fulfilled the prediction in the -46 kg category with STOJKOVIC Lena.

The second day of action at the
2022 European Senior Championships handed out four gold medals.

The first places went to France who took two (02) in the men’s -58 kg and women’s -73 kg categories. Croatia took one gold (01) in -87 kg, and Great Britain also won (01) for their personal tally.

Day (01).
Turkey made a strong start to the European Taekwondo Championships. The Turks won three (03) gold medals in the Senior category and added two (02) more in Parataekwondo to claim five titles out of seven that were disputed in the Manchester arena.
With such overwhelming results at the very beginning of this great tournament, the red-flagged team are living up to the predictions as the current power in this discipline in Europe.
