Tijana Bogdanović (23) (Serbia) is a world Taekwondo phenomenon with an impressive record in the difficult -49 kg weight class.

At 1.72 metres tall, the athlete has achieved significant success in her sporting career and has become a benchmark in the top Olympic weight class.

Her beginnings were promising. Junior world champion in Taipei in 2014. In addition, she was twice (02) European champion in the junior category in 2013 and 2015.

She also managed to become world university individual and team champion in 2017 in events held in Taipei.

Sporting accolades

Tijana is a two-time Olympic medallist in Rio 2016 (silver) and Tokyo 2020 (bronze) and seven (07) times Grand Prix medallist, professional events where she has won money.

She also won her first world medal in Russia 2015 in the 46-49 kg category.
