The Romanian Taekwondo Federation, chaired by Mr. Apostol Constantin, is organising the European Under 21 Championship, with the technical support of the European Taekwondo Union (ETU).
This great event for under 21 athletes will be held from 7 – 10 December 2023 in the Polivalente Hall of the historical city of Bucharest. Romania has become the venue for other international Taekwondo competitions, such as the famous Dracula Open.

In an invitation statement, ETU President, Mr. Sakis Pragalos, indicated that this European competition is an opportunity for younger athletes to face senior athletes. GM. Pragalos emphasised the warmth and good organisation of the Romanian Federation.

Mr. Apostol Constantin, president of Romania Taekwondo Federation, is excited to organise a tournament where the highest level athletes from Europe will participate.

The under 21 championship will use Daedo electronic systems technology and will compete under the (WT) world categories.

Inaugurated on 10 August 1974, the Palace of Sports and Culture, now the National Sports Complex «Multipurpose Hall», is the most important indoor sports centre in the capital city due to its location, equipment and 5,300 seats.

Bucharest is Romania’s capital and most populous city, as well as its main industrial, commercial and cultural centre.
