
Just in the jubilee of the 50th anniversary of WT Taekwondo, the Grand Prix Final of Taekwondo, category G-10, will take place in the city of Manchester from the 1st to the 3rd of December.
This event designed for the Elite of the world Taekwondo will be held in the Regional Arena of the city of Manchester, an epic place that hosts major sporting competitions.
The Parataekwondo GP Final is scheduled for December 1st, while the conventional GP Final is scheduled for December 2nd and 3rd. Daedo technology will be used for both tournaments.
Event with audience
The British federation is carrying out a major publicity campaign to attract an enthusiastic public to the Regional Arena. In Manchester the competitors, many of them World and Olympic champions, will fight on the three (03) tatamis available.

Incentive
The winners of the first three (03) places in each category – there are (08) divisions in total – will take home six thousand (6000), three thousand (3000), and one thousand (1000) dollars. In total, $48,000 will be awarded to the champions, $24,000 to the runners-up, and $16,000 to the third-place finishers. In total, the final GP awards the athletes about 88,000 dollars.
Even more important will be the G-10 points quota.

The ranking system of the Olympic categories; Female: -49 kg, -57 kg, -67 kg, +67 kg, Male: -58 kg, -68 kg, -80 kg, +80 kg, will award 100 points to the winner, 60 points to the second place and 30 points to the third place. From 4th to 9th place will also be awarded 21.6, 15.12, 10.58, respectively.
The Grand Prix Final also has great significance for the athletes. Not only are they the top 16 ranked athletes in the world, but they have the possibility to define their final position among the top six (06) athletes who will have access via WT ranking to the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
