From 13-14 August the WINNER ISRAEL OPEN 2022 is scheduled to take place in Ramla Israel. The G2 event will feature Kyrougy action in Senior, Junior and Cadet categories with guests from all over the world, highlighting the best teams from America such as Mexico and Colombia, who will attend with their stars.
The International Tournament will be organised by the Israeli Taekwondo Federation, with the technical support of the European Taekwondo Union (ETU), and the endorsement of the World Taekwondo Federation.
This is the year that Israel will restart its international G2 competition.
Numerous championships have already been held in 2022 and we are looking forward to presenting our exciting Winner Israel Open. This event is an opportunity for senior athletes to earn world ranking points and continue to earn points for the next Grand Prix in Paris and then in Manchester.
“The Winner Israel Open 2022 will be a success. We will have our international Taekwondo and Parataekwondo medallists. We welcome you in advance to the city of Ramla¨, declared the President of the Israel Taekwondo Federation, Noa Shmida.
“It will be days of intense sporting excitement with the presence of elite athletes from various parts of the world and the thrills of the new rules,” she added.
Teams from America
To make the competition more interesting, there will be some training days with several teams present. “We have the confirmation of Mexico and Colombia and their Elite athletes,” added the CEO of Israel Taekwondo.
Weigh-ins for all competitors (14:00-19:00) and technical meeting will start on August 12. The senior categories will start on August 13th, while the Cadets and juniors will start on August 14th, where fights will open at 9:00 am. Athletes and coaches will stay at the official hotel of the event, Leonardo Boutique Rehovot.
The best referees from the European Union will be present to ensure maximum transparency for the athletes.
