The new rules in action, demanding everything from the athletes coming to the Grand Prix. On the first day of action, some favourites like Anastajia Zolotic (USA), Jade Jones (GB) Olympic champions are eliminated from the competition.
The big favourite in -58 kg, Jang Jun (KOR) was left out of the medals. Vibrant Olympic medallists Adriana Cerezo, ,Tijana BOGDANOVIC (Ser), and the Israeli Abishag SEMBERG also had no chance to reach the semi-finals.
It is very positive that for the semi-finals of the first day of the Paris Grand Prix, all five continents are involved. Asia, Europe, America, Africa and Oceania.
