Bulgarian Taekwondo had a magnificent participation in the 2023 European Games by winning a bronze medal with the talented athlete BOYADZHIEVA Kalina +73 kg.
The delegation was accompanied by the President of the Bulgarian Federation and Vice President of ETU, GM. Slavi Binev, and coaches Farzad Zolghadri, Plamen Transki and Vladimir Dalakliev.
Also great was the participation of Kaloyan Binev and Lubimir Bogdanov who were one step away from obtaining medals, achieving fifth place in a competition that brought together the best athletes in Europe, including world and Olympic champions.
The athlete continues to confirm a high level and promises to bring great satisfaction and medals to the country. There is a lot of talent in Bulgarian Taekwondo and everyone is working to ensure more and better results in the future.
For now, Kaloyan will travel to the World University Games, we also have the European Olympic weight category championship, European junior championship and Mitko Dzhordzhev going to Paris Grand prix, said coach Farzad Zolghadri.
